Friends of the ILP

There is a great deal of scepticism towards all forms of politics, including ours.  Many people are wary of political organisations and are cautious about being duped or used -- often with good reason.  Yet, at the same time, people express the need to relate to others in some way.  They want links to others with whom they feel something in common, the chance to share ideas and experiences; and, not least, they want to belong to a caring community.

The aim of the ILP Friends' Forum is to provide a means to connect a broad spectrum of people who share some agreement with our ideas. We want to offer a means for those who wish to discuss and learn from each other, whether in print, on the internet or in forums.  We want to create a living political community which allows people to be involved as much or as little as they wish.

If you become a Friend, you will receive copies of our discussion bulletin, other occasional publications, and copies of our free literature. You will also be notified of any of our meetings in your locality and about our schools and conferences. If you feel like giving it a try, then please contact us.

Sorry, you can't become a friend by e-mail yet, but we'll be working on it.  In the meantime, please snail-mail your subscription of £10 (£7 unwaged) with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address to:
