New Labour is committed to

A SOCIETY FOR THE MANY, NOT THE FEW

  • We share Labour's vision but can it be turned into a reality?
  • How do we begin to change an unjust and oppressive system into a socially just and tolerant society?
  • And how do we make sure that this society is genuinely democratic?
If you are interested - or just curious -  then we invite you to find out more about the ILP

The ILP, Independent Labour Publications, was formed in 1893 as the Independent Labour Party. It was a co-founder of the Labour Party. We think that ILPers have played an honourable historical role and we hope to do so in the future.

Today, the ILP is an educational trust, publishing house and pressure group committed to democratic socialism and the success of a democratic socialist Labour Party. The primary aims of our publications are to contribute to political analysis and the development of democratic socialist perspective and policy; and to help stimulate a debate within the Labour Party and within society about these ends and the means to achieve them.
